whats the coldest temprature you can dig with a backhoe?
the owner of the subdivision that we just bought land from is suppose to put in a lift station for the sewer, but hasnt done so, claiming that the ground is too frozen to dig at the moment. he has had plenty of times when it was above freezing to do it. we cannot start building our home until he gets this done….we have waited months now to start, but nothing has been done. so my question is; Whats the coldest temprature you can dig ground using a backhoe? we are seeking a lawyer and plan to meet with him on friday because if this matter. we feel we are getting the runaround. does anyone out there know about digging and stuff like that? please let me know!!! thanx soooooo much……
Whats the best way to get rid of roots?
We are clearing some of our property we bought and it is full of nothing but bushes, weeds, brush, sticker and such. No trees, just junk. We have it cleared but are left with lots of little sturdy stumps. to many to dig or pull. Any other method other than renting a big backhoe or whatever people use?
What’s the best place to get low-cost, clean fill dirt?
Recently I needed major work on my home sewer line, which involved digging up the yard with backhoes. Now that the work is done the exposed dirt is settling and we need to fill in some spots. It’ll probably be about one pickup-load of dirt. What’s the best way to find an inexpensive source of low-cost (or free) fill? Or, maybe more to the point, are there particular kinds of sources that I should avoid because of contamination?
