What would a a good way to make a level place for the pool?

I just got a 16foot pool, with a ground cloth, on sale, but there is not a level spot to put in on.
Getting a backhoe to level it is not an option, 1) I can not afford it, and 2) I do not know how to use one.
I have to do it by hand.

I am thinking that the best way is to put 4 metal fence posts at the four corners, then run a rope to each, to mark the area, then using a small level on a string, to see what the slop is, that would let me know how far I have to dig to get almost level, then use the garden hoe to level it out.
The problem is that this is a lot of hard work, and it gets so hot here.
I was also thinking about using the red bricks to build up, (there are several thousand) that way I would only have to scrape away some of the dirt to make the bricks level, but then there would be cracks between them, and the ones on the end (the lowest point, so the most bricks stacked) could fall.
I original wanted to 32 4X8 sheets to lay then 16X16, 4 layers thick to hold the weight, but that would cast almost $1,000, and I only make $650 a month.

I am open to ANY ideas, no matter how crazy. Sometimes crazy works.
There is nowhere around here to get sand. If there was, I would have a sand and brick walkway instead of plain dirt.

The online place for rent and exchange things

Do you have so much stuff, but not enough spare space in your home or business to store it?

Have you ever thought of renting this things to people who may just need them and don’t want to go out and buy them?

There are a lot of people who want cameras, ski and snowboard equipment and other stuff temporarily while they are on a vacation.

Camping gear for example can cost hundreds of dollars and many people find that they don’t go enough to justify that expense. So they prefer just to rent it.

Or if you have tools, there are a lot of chances that someone could be interested in renting them. In fact, studies have shown that the average power tool is used for only about half an hour in its lifetime. Renting (or borrowing) that specialized tool when you need it can save you money, and free up space in your home or garage.

Just about anything you have, that someone else cannot afford, is a rental opportunity. That makes it one of the more feasible and legitimate ways to make extra money.

The list with the items that could be rented is too big, but here are some suggestions:

cameras and video recorders, laptop, mulcher, woodchipper, scooter, generator, games, game systems, auger, wii, atv, kayak, tractor, stroller, moonwalk, sailboat, dethatcher, chipper, books, bikes, rototiller, costumes, sport equipment, bobcat, rv, tiller, log splitter, camper, backhoe, aerator, canoe, motorcycle, ferrari, jackhammer, stump grinder, couch, loader, pontoon, piano, skidsteer, steam, trailor, trampoline, tents, purse, bead blaster, ferarri, psp, rake, mulch, skid loader, speakers, sprayer, bobcat loader, tiler, kiln, wallpaper steamer, sandblaster, hoist, motorhome, steamer, xbox, movies, cd’s, porsche, crib, jetski, cherry picker, dozer, skid steer, cello, canopy, pool, bed, scanner etc.

You can ask the question: What happens if a Renter damages or loses an item?

When you post your item, you can always set a security deposit in case something happens to it.  The Owner has to decide how much to hold as the deposit (or can choose not to require one at all).

You can list these items on a website called Cool-Rent (cool-rent.com), you post for free and get paid to rent your items.

On this site you can also exchange things. Let’s say you bought a game and you don’t want to play it anymore. In this case why not just exchange it for another game with someone else that is also looking to exchange game? The same applies for audio books, movies, clothes, game consoles etc.

But you can also exchange homes. This can be a vacation alternative where two families agree to swap homes for a vacation. The both parties can have rent-free accommodation during the exchange and that can really save you thousands of dollars/Euros.

What’s the best place to get low-cost, clean fill dirt?

Recently I needed major work on my home sewer line, which involved digging up the yard with backhoes. Now that the work is done the exposed dirt is settling and we need to fill in some spots. It’ll probably be about one pickup-load of dirt. What’s the best way to find an inexpensive source of low-cost (or free) fill? Or, maybe more to the point, are there particular kinds of sources that I should avoid because of contamination?
