I just bought a Hough model H.F. Pay loader. Want to know all I can about it. It has a Backhoe.?

I bought 3 yds of topsoil and found 75 snapping turtle eggs in the soil. What is the proper way to bury them?

I am a landscaper and went to buy some topsoil for a job and noticed turtle eggs in the screened topsoil. Apparently a couple or more turtles came up from a nearby river and deemed the large pile of screened topsoil to be a good nesting area. Problem is the soil was being sold to landscapers like myself. I carefully took all the eggs out of the topsoil and went to bury them in my backyard to hatch. I put wooden edges around the area so that the turtles would not escape when hatched. We checked it everyday for 3 months and finally 7 hatched. My kids and I brought the 7 lucky turtles back to the river and released them. Is there a precise depth and orientation the eggs must be in for them to hatch? Years ago a snapping turtle laid eggs in our backyard and 16 of the 26 she laid hatched which is a much higher percentage than 7 of 75. I think that during the move from the pile of topsoil to my backyard this time, I inadvertently changed the orientation and depth of the eggs. By pure chance I think the 7 that hatched were in the proper orientation and depth to get the proper incubation needed. It would have been nearly impossible to get the proper orientation as the topsoil was scooped up with a backhoe and dumped into my truck and the eggs were josseled and moved around however I think I could have done a better job burying them at the proper depth. My eggs were buried in layers ranging from about 12 inches deep to 3 inches deep. I think the 7 that hatched were the ones at the top layer. Can I do anything with the remaining turtles eggs for the spring or is it too late?

My husband bought a used Grizzly 3-point hitch for our farm tractor. Is the Grizzly Corporation still around?

We are needing to repair this backhoe. We really got a good deal on it and can afford to put some money into it. But we can’t locate Grizzly Corporation anywhere. Did possibly another company take it over? If so, Who?
