John Deere, JCB, or Kamatsu backhoe?

I need to buy a backhoe, and I was wondering if one of the brands has a better reputation than the other. I need a backhoe that is not going to break down on me all the time. I have rented a Case backhoe several times in the past, and it broke down on me everytime I rented it. I would appreciate hearing from you if you are an experienced backhoe operator or have experience repairing backhoes.
I would appreciate any help you can offer about what I should look for when shopping for a backhoe. I know that I want a 4×4, and the size I want is the John Deere class 310 or 410.
Thank you, in advance, for your help.

Bronson Troy Backhoe Operator for Hire (he’s only 4yrs old)

This is my son, Bronson Troy. He turned 4 yrs. old January 24, 2009. When I go to work I get to take my children with me. My oldest Son is Bronson who is 4 and my youngest son is Mason who is 9mth. On May 26,2009 Bronson was very excited to go work with his paw and dig holes. I never in a million years thought that my 4 yr. old little boy could operate a Caterpillar Backhoe. Bronsons’ Papaw said that he learned to operate this backhoe in 3 hrs. Just goes to show you that anything is possible given the opportunity.

How to operate a backhoe – here’s how!

If you want to learn how to operate a backhoe, simply get this brilliant e-book, and quickly read it. You will learn exactly how to operate the backhoe, and see how simple it actually is. Good luck!

Operating a backhoe, actually sounds very complex. Add to that the oil changing, fuel adding, and all that stuff, and all of this seems too complex to ever learn. The truth is, operating a backhoe is one of the simplest things you can learn. You just need the right guide. That’s why I can recommend the above e-book – it is written by one of the most experienced backhoe operators, and most importantly – the information is made very simple, even fun to read and learn. You will be able to operate the backhoe, and do all possible moves extremely quickly and effortlessly.

Now, operating a car is much harder, than a backhoe – you need to watch the mirrors, you need to learn to use the clutch, all those things. To learn how to operate a backhoe, you need only a couple of hours, and you are good to go. Many people think that it’s best to have a senior backhoe operator, teach you himself. That’s not always the best idea, as many of those people have no actual idea of what they are doing – they can operate it perfectly, but they do not understand it well enough consciously, in order to teach it to someone else. The result is only frustration, especially for the teacher. Getting a simple book, which explains the exact steps is a much better idea. Of course, if you have a backhoe instructor, and you want to learn from him, go ahead, but it is completely not necessary.
