John Deere, JCB, or Kamatsu backhoe?

I need to buy a backhoe, and I was wondering if one of the brands has a better reputation than the other. I need a backhoe that is not going to break down on me all the time. I have rented a Case backhoe several times in the past, and it broke down on me everytime I rented it. I would appreciate hearing from you if you are an experienced backhoe operator or have experience repairing backhoes.
I would appreciate any help you can offer about what I should look for when shopping for a backhoe. I know that I want a 4×4, and the size I want is the John Deere class 310 or 410.
Thank you, in advance, for your help.

i would go kamatsu. the chinese make pretty good dirt moving equipment. also they are usually cheaper to fix.

I have had experience using ford, john deere, case, and cat backhoes. I will say in my experience that the cat is the best. The john deere is a close second though and you shouldn’t have any problems with either of them.
